Artist Emily Edwards created this piece for Mother’s Day in May 2018 and gifted it to Roots + Wings when it launched in February 2020.
“Several years ago on an autumn day, I went on a walk with my little boy. We collected leaves and acorns. When we got home, we played with them. I have been hooked ever since. Nature art is equal parts spiritual, meditative, and therapeutic for me. This practice quiets my overthinking mind and allows me to find my centre.”
