Janet Anstead

Throughout Advent, Rev. Janet Anstead is offering daily devotions (Monday to Friday) to help us see the hope, peace, joy, and love in our faith and our daily lives as we wait and prepare for Jesus’ birth. Whether you start your morning with a devotion, pause in the middle of your day to be refreshed, or reflect at the end of your night, these short devotions (under 5 minutes!) will be a comfort and a companion with you this season.

Janet's theme song should probably be the Beatles' "The Long and Winding Road." She was born in England and raised in Canada. She had a varied career before turning to Ministry. She has found her perfect Church Home at Mapleton where she has served for almost 16 years. In addition to her church family she is thoroughly blessed in her son Eric, her daughter-in-law Stephanie and, of course, her beautiful granddaughter Mackenzie.
